This is because the government's Gift Aid scheme allows them to reclaim tax on your donations so for every £1 you give they can now reclaim 25p from the tax man. Even though that may only seem like a small amount, you will be surprised how it all adds up - so far the NSPCC has already raised over £45.33 million through Gift Aid alone.
