Day 105

Monday 19th of April 2010 at 11:33

Finally on the move again which is great. Progress is slow but at least I'm making ground in the right direction. Sometimes the ocean moves along pretty quickly and other times it's fairly static. It's static at the moment so moving just a little slower.

I now have more food on board as I managed to get re-supplied. Basically I completely ran out of food which was a worry for me. I did manage to make 90 days last 105 days which is good going. The re-supply came last night. A big thanks to Simon Chalk for organizing it and to the guys onboard Ocean Planet for delivering it.

Now with plenty of food on board I think you'll all agree it's time to get cracking and bring the good ship Speedo in. I've been out here a long time.

I have started to see more rubbish float by so that is a sign I'm getting closer.

Thanks for all the messages of support.

Out for now,
Captain Ketch

Keep going Ketch - nearly there pal - you'll breeze through these last few miles before being able to tuck into decent grub at the finish line.... then you may need to row back again, as it looks like the UK is still a no-fly zone!!!!

Hang in there. Glad you got re-supplied, since you haven't got a cabin boy to put in the pot. And I don't suppose the stuff that's floating by is up to the standards of a Sainsbury's skip, which can provide some quite classy meals.

I have the same opinion with most of your points, but some need to be discussed further, I will hold a small talk with my buddies and perhaps I will look for you some advice shortly.
