Day 83
Well the last few days have certainly been hot! I'm pretty much use to it now but it still takes it out of you physically. Today I've managed to row 29 miles in 12 hours which is fine. There has been a very strong current recently that has been taking me south. That's now shifted to taking me just west which is obviously perfect. I'm already below Antigua so don’t want to head any further south if it can be helped. It's looking like I've got around another 3 weeks left at sea so just trying to enjoy being out here as well as rowing. 83 days has somehow gone past pretty quickly.
Fingers crossed when I say this but everything still appears to be holding up well on the good ship Speedo. Let's hope it stays that way!
Tried a little more on the fishing front today but the bait I used just fell straight off the hook. There does seam to be more flying fish around lately I've noticed.
I've also noticed the time difference now. I'm still working off UK time but it's pitch black at 9am and still light at 10pm so I'll need to adjust to local time soon.
