Day 71
Today is just day 71 for me, but for my brother Jeremy it's his 21st birthday. Happy birthday! Sorry I can't be at home for this one. Jeremy is a young aspiring motorcycle road racer. Although that is when he is not crashing trying to be as quick as me! Hope you like your present. At least now you have a real one! Not to long till Antigua now so see you then.
On the rowing front conditions have been quite good allowing me to make some good progress. Long may it continue!
Thanks for all the messages keep them coming love reading them.

Vasbyt Bru, its hard but that what you set out to achieve & U doing a fab job against the elements of mother nature, u have proved u got wot it takes, mentally & physically and the pain & fight is part of yr journey. So just keep doing what U do best and that is bite the bullet and just keep moving, one day at time. Hapi 21st Boifday to brother. Its your turn at the oars next, no bikes allowed on board though. Sounds like you are doing ok there and loved hearing about your novel way of passing the time. That trick of guessing the time lapsed so accurately will be enormously helpful when you get home to Blighty and have to wait for a train at Basingstoke Station. Nice to see you gave Jeremy a thought on his big day......i'm sure all your readers would love to know what you got him as a present. Keep rowing and keep safe.
Best for now
Uncle Dave
