Day 43

Monday 15th of February 2010 at 23:44

Today has been a good day. Have managed to make some good progress almost 30 miles in 12 hours. Also I learnt that the next seven days are looking good weather wise. Hopefully should be able to get some good mileage going. Tonight I'm going to tuck into a nice can of tinned fruit as a treat. It's a real boost when you have something nice to eat out here. It's a shame there are no service stations with Mac Donalds out here. They would be very popular with ocean rowers, that's for sure.

A big shout out to all the Speedo fans that are following me. Thank you. The good ship Speedo appreciates your support.

That's me for another night!

So Captain Ketch you are still hanging in there, or perhaps your arms are hanging off after 12 hours rowing into the wind. Good job you are the super fit athlete we know you to be. Also your Mum will be delighted to see how neat and tidy you are keeping your room. Must be a comfort to be so like home.
Keep pulling.
Best for now
Uncle Dave

30 miles in 12 hours! Sweet, crack on there my son. Give it the beanz and get into Antigua sharpish. You're not missing anything here just Lady GaGa winning the Brits = Loony toons and a study which has revealed that if you pick the hours you work you're more likely to be happy = bl00dy obvious. Actually I might come out to join you.
