Day 5
Today was a good day. The winds have turned to allow me to make some progress. This morning the alarm on my AIS system started beeping. I looked out onto the horizon and was greeted by a large cargo ship coming my way. I quickly got onto the radio to notify them of my position. At first they did not have visual contact as I'm so small compared to them. They did know I was there due to my AIS which was reassuring though. I had a chat with the captain of the ship who told me he was heading for Brazil. I told him I was heading to Antigua and he chuckled and wished me good luck. A few minutes later and this massive ship in front of me was gone over the horizon as quick as it came.
