Finally off and revised website!

People it's been a while since the last update from me and this will actually be the last one from the UK. I guess I'd better make it a good one then!

Firstly I'd like to thank everyone who has been involved with me and the project over the last year and a half. I can't believe I purchased the boat a year and a half ago, the time has gone very quickly. It feels quite strange knowing i fly out of Gatwick destined for La Gomera this Friday at 8am and will not be coming back for some time. Well at least March. When I started this project my goal was to get to the start line. Unless my plane crashes it looks like I have achieved that! What lies ahead of me will be very hard there is no question of that. Although if it was easy everyone would do it ah! Knowing I have the support of everyone behind me does help a lot and I would love to hear from everyone whilst I'm away. Now this actually leads me onto my next subject, The new website! www.atlanticadventurer.com has under gone a bit of a face lift and this will be the place to keep up with the row as I'll be updating it daily. The blogs I leave are actually interactive so you'll be able to leave comments. Lots of abuse coming my way I think! Also you'll be able to send me txt messages via the site for free. If anyone does want to email me whilst I'm away this will be the one speedo@mailasail.com The revised site would not of been possible if it was not for the epic work of Alex at Pure Innovation (A top website company) As well as updating the website daily, my facebook page will be kept updated daily as well. Again this will be the work of top man Alex!. I can't access facebook from the boat so he will be doing it from the warmth of his office for me. Someone else who has been truly epic is my good friend Matt, who designed and built the original website well over a year ago. Now you all know what to do, save www.atlanticadventurer.com under your favorites and get abusing! The next few months should be quite interesting. Can't believe I'm actually about to row solo across the Atlantic. I must of been dropped on my head when I was younger! Or maybe it's all those motorbike accidents! Anyway the time has now come to go and make friends with Mrs Atlantic! Hope she likes me, not sure my charm will work on this one!

Out for now Captain Ketch
