Earls Court Boat Show and last months Activities

Friday 28th of November 2008 at 17:32

The last month I have to say has absolutely flown by. I've managed to squeeze in one radio interview and bring one sponsor on board the project. All good work! My most recent radio interview can be heard in our Press section.

I was fortunate enough to be invited to the Sail Power and Water Sports Show at Earls Court on the 26th -30th November, to be part of an ocean rowing display. 3 boats made up the display with myself rowing the Atlantic solo, 4 girls rowing the Indian and 2 guys rowing the North Pacific.

The display worked really well and was a good opportunity to get the boat out in the open and into the public eye. The take up on the campaign and the charity in focus was amazing. I spoke to a lot of interesting people and received great encouragement and support. One of the highlights of the event was being interviewed by ITV, not sure if will make it on air but it was fun filming it.

After the excitement of the Boat show it's now back to the hard work of securing sponsors and arranging events.

Watch this space more news to come soon.
