Biography
As long as I can remember I have had a passion for sport and adventure. As a youngster I was keen on Rugby and as an 11 year old I was chosen for Basingstoke Junior Bisons Ice Hockey team and was privileged to be a part of their League Champions winning team for several years. In my later teens I developed an interest in weight lifting and competed at National level in Body Building. The personal fitness element of this has stayed with me and in 2004 I qualified as a Personal Trainer/Gym Instructor. Around this time I discovered an interest in Motor Cycle Road Racing. I have worked hard at this and in the last 12 months have competed in the 600cc class with increasing success.
Road Racing is very much about the individual effort and it is the challenge of pushing yourself toward excellence that has led to take on what some might think of as the ultimate test: to row the Atlantic solo.
